Finalist to interview for Graduate School interim dean

The search committee for the interim dean of the Graduate School announces Phillip Payne as the finalist who will interview for the position and invites members of the K-State community to attend the open forum and Q&A session.

Payne, professor and acting associate dean of the Graduate School, will interview on Thursday, Aug. 7. The open forum and Q&A session will be from 2-3 p.m. in the Hemisphere Room, 581 Hale Library.

K-Staters are encouraged to review his application materials and attend the open forum and Q&A session titled, "Leading the Graduate School During a Time of Change: Opportunities and Challenges."

The itinerary and application materials are available on the provost's search website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. For those unable to attend in-person, the open forum will be streamed live and archived on the provost’s search website.

There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on the search website. The feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, and the open forum presentation will be removed from the website at that time.

Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Tuesday, Aug. 12.
