Provost names search committee for interim dean of the Graduate School

Jesse Perez Mendez, provost and executive vice president, has appointed the search committee to lead an expedited search for an interim dean of the Graduate School. This search will be internal and open to current and qualified K-State employees. Chairing the committee will be Michael McClure, dean of the College of Architecture, Planning & Design.

Search committee members are:

• Michael McClure, committee chair, professor and dean of the College of Architecture, Planning & Design
• Karen Goos, vice provost for enrollment management
• Aditya Jha, graduate student in civil engineering
• Sara Luly, associate professor and director of University Honors Program in the Staley School of Leadership
• Scott Tanona, professor and associate dean for academic affairs and planning in the College of Arts and Sciences
• Jonathan Ulmer, professor and assistant dean for graduate programs in the College of Agriculture

A national search will be conducted later for permanent leadership with more details to come.
