Artificial intelligence is transforming every aspect of agriculture — from livestock and crop production to horticulture, forestry and sustainable land management. Kansas State University's AI in Kansas Ag Conference will delve into how AI-driven innovations are reshaping the future of farming and food systems.

Join industry leaders, producers, researchers and extension professionals at the one-day conference focused on the latest advances in agriculture on Tuesday, July 22, at The Ranch House in Lyndon. Attendees will learn about cutting-edge technologies and tools for adapting and thriving in a rapidly evolving agricultural landscape, including drones, precision irrigation, automated equipment, data analytics and virtual fencing for cattle.

Conference sessions from 1-5:30 p.m. will include discussions with expert panelists on topics such as the history of AI in agriculture, the trustworthiness of AI, and the costs and benefits of using precision agriculture tools. There will also be a demonstration of a spray drone for pasture management. Conference sessions will be followed by a networking dinner and live demonstrations from various vendors.

Community members, researchers, agricultural businesses and local Kansas producers are invited to attend the conference. Registration is free, but space is limited to the first 200 attendees — register today.

This event was proposed by the Frontier Extension District's Program Development Committee, which works to develop programs and projects that benefit Kansas producers. The committee consists of six farmers within the district's three counties.

The AI in Kansas Ag Conference is cohosted by K-State Research and Extension, the Frontier Extension District, and K-State's Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics.
