Admission

All future music, theatre and dance students must apply for admission to K-State.

Auditions for admission

Auditions for Music Major and Minor Admissions and Scholarships

All future music majors must audition for the instructor(s) of their primary performing medium in order to be accepted into the music program. A proficiency exam will define student achievement levels in music theory and aural skills.

Auditions for performance

Theatre auditions

Auditions are open to all registered students at the university. All K-State students, regardless of major or year in school, are considered for all roles.

Dance auditions

Performance opportunities are available to all K-State students regardless of their major of minor for Winter Dance, Spring Dance, and Dance Student Spotlight along with two active ensembles.

Music auditions

K-State music ensembles are open to all students regardless of major.
