Bridging Music and Structure in Austria

This immersive study abroad course explores the intersection of architecture and music through a 14-day journey across Vienna, Salzburg, Bregenz, and Zurich. Students will investigate historical and contemporary performance venues and architectural landmarks, experiencing firsthand the spaces where music and design converge. With buildings ranging from medieval fortresses to cutting-edge modernism, and music venues steeped in operatic and orchestral tradition, the trip offers a unique opportunity to study how cultural heritage is shaped and expressed through built and musical environments.
