Lawrence "Chip" Levine

Lawrence "Chip" Levine is a native of New Jersey. Growing up in the Crossroads of the American revolution kindled his life-long interest in military history. He participated in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the key Revolutionary War Battle of Monmouth in 1978. Other battlefields he has visited include Gettysburg, Waterloo, and key sites in Belgium and Luxembourg from the World War II "Battle of the Bulge." He has served in military and civilian positions in both the public and private sector, to include support to the Chairman of the House Public Works Committee and as an eBusiness leader with General Electric.
He was commissioned as an Armor officer from Georgetown University. He holds a BA in Political Science and Journalism from the George Washington University, an MA in Information Management from Webster University, and an MA in Military Art and Science from the Command and General Staff college.
Following staff and leadership assignments in 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized) he transitioned into Military Intelligence. His service included command and staff assignments in US Forces Command (FORSCOM), the Army's Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and the Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). His experience includes time as an Advanced Intelligence Officer Course Instructor, intelligence support to Advanced Warfighting Exercises, the development and acquisition of new intelligence systems, training of intelligence staffs at Brigade, Division, Corps, and Theater-level in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and the training of foreign officers in Africa and Afghanistan.
