Non-Traditional Students

Non-traditional students are seeking to start or continue the pursuit of an undergraduate degree later in life rather than right after graduating high school. They include:

  • Students attending part-time or work full time while enrolled.
  • Students who are financially independent of their parents.
  • Students with family dependents other than a spouse.
  • Students who are single parents.

The decision to pursue higher education can be complex. We're here to provide assistance and advocacy for students before, during, and after their admission to Kansas State University. To help you navigate the process, check out more information related to admissions, housing, academic success tools, and more.
