Director of MARC
Student Support and Accountability is seeking a director for the Military Affiliated Resource Center. The director will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of programs, services and activities for the K-State military-affiliated community including veterans, active-duty service members, their spouses/partners, and their dependents and serve as the initial point of contact for the population.
About the Role
The Director will serve as the Project Coordinator for the remaining time of the Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success grant through the Department of Education. This includes continuing the work done through the CEVSS grant which includes monitoring enrollment and retention numbers, working with campus partners to serve the population, and leading a one-stop shop for military connected student needs. The Director will also provide oversight and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the MARC.

Job Summary
The graduate student for the Military Affiliated Resource Center (M.A.R.C.) ensures excellent customer service to the military affiliated population on campus and nurtures relationships with university and community partners. This position supports the mission and goals under the Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs (DASSA) to best serve the military affiliated population and all students at K-State.
In support of the development of the Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success at K-State, the Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) will work with entities across campus and at a local and national level to provide guidance and resources for Veterans and their families.
They will analyze and report data and information related to military affiliated, manage communications about the M.A.R.C. for events and programming, and help maintain an inclusive and welcoming space. Through collaboration they develop, plan, support, and coordinate events for community building and camaraderie for military affiliated prospective and current students. The work of this position is enriched by theories related to student development and adult education, and data analysis.
