Daniel Hemphill

 

Daniel is from San Diego, California and is an undergraduate at Kansas State University. He is majoring in Horticultural Science and has been working in the KLRC lab since January 2018. He is determining how plants tolerate freezing. Being a natural tinkerer, Daniel stumbled upon his hobby of hydroponics at the age of 14, and this kindled his love for plants. He now seeks to better understand plants' needs so that he may develop optimal controlled environments for industrial, commercial, and scientific applications.
