Schedule a Peer Coaching Session

After you have completed the strengths assessment, most students/learners are curious and want to learn more about their top five strengths in action. K-State provides strengths peer coaches to help you name, claim, and aim your strengths toward specific goals.

Three types of strengths peer coaching sessions are available
  1. Coaching toward Strengths Insights: Take a deep dive into learning more about your top five talent themes
  2. Coaching toward an existing challenge: Something on your mind? Keeping you up at night? Learn how your top five strengths can serve as agency as you overcome a leadership challenge.
  3. Coaching toward wellbeing: Using six pillars of well-being (purpose, social, financial, physical, community, emotional) your coach can ask you questions to help you identify how to move from struggling or suffering to thriving. Coaches can also help you find resources across campus to further support your well-being.

How to schedule a peer coaching session

  • Log into Navigate
  • Select “Appointments” from the menu on the left
  • Click "Schedule an Appointment”
  • In the first drop down, select "Academic Coaching"
  • For service, select Strengths Peer Coaching
  • Pick a date and click "search"
  • On the next screen, scroll below the calendar, and under "Location" students in Salina select Salina- Strengths Coaching, students in Manhattan select Strengths- Coaching.
  • Under 'How would you like to meet?' choose "In-person" or "Virtual."
  • Confirm final details and click "Schedule" at the bottom of your screen.
