About

In September 2023, under the leadership of President Linton, the University launched the Next-Gen K-State Strategic Plan. This plan is comprised of ten bold imperatives designed to position K-State as a next-generation land-grant university by 2030. Imperative three focuses on providing real-world, real-time experiences for every student before they graduate.

Reaching all degree-seeking students by 2030
Confidence and clarity in future career paths
Six experiences to choose from
Creating an unmatched and impactful student experience

The Staley School of Leadership has been charged to engage faculty and staff across the university, and community and industry stakeholders to advance this important work. As a community, we will meet this ambitious goal by better understanding existing opportunities and deepening and expanding access for all students. Applied learning experiences have the potential to give students confidence and clarity in their future careers — and competence and purpose as they pursue it.
