LEAD 212 Class Leaders

Our Class Leaders create transformational learning experiences at K-State through small groups called Learning Communities. Students in LEAD 212: Introduction to leadership concepts, are divided into Learning Communities at the beginning of their semester.

Class Leaders are essential mentors who build relationships in their Learning Community and help students see their own capacity to practice leadership.

What they do

  • Facilitate small group discussions
  • Lead active-learning exercises
  • Create a learning community with their students
  • Perform administrative functions (such as grading, attendance, etc).
