Advancement Council
The Mary Lynn and Warren Staley School of Leadership Studies Advancement Council is a group of alumni, business, civic and student leaders who are committed to the vitality of the Staley School of Leadership Studies at Kansas State University. Members of the Council actively support and promote the mission of the Staley School, “developing knowledgeable, ethical, caring, inclusive leaders for a diverse and changing world.”
The purpose of the Staley School of Leadership Studies Advancement Council is to help strengthen its learning, research and outreach programs, improve its facilities, expand its base of support, and serve its alumni. Council members actively participate in the continual assessment of the program’s progress and the development of partnerships.

Casey Carlson
Casey has worked for over a decade in Deloitte’s Talent organization. She has served in a number of HR leadership roles working with each of the business lines within Deloitte’s organization, and is now part of Deloitte’s Global Mobility & Immigration (GM&I) team in a leadership development role. This is a rotational role that is designed to give professionals the opportunity to learn all aspects of GM&I. For her first rotation, Casey will lead the Projects, India to U.S., & Global Visa Desk Team.
Casey is a native of Solomon, Kansas graduating from high school with a class of 17. She graduated from Kansas State University where she received her Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance and Masters of Accountancy. While at K-State, she helped establish an interdisciplinary minor in leadership studies, the fastest growing and widest reaching academic program at the university. She is passionate about the future of education and plays an advisory role with several organizations focused on secondary education reform. Casey lives with her husband, three year olds and cat in Concord, MA. She and her family enjoy taking advantage of the many beaches, hiking trails, museums and parks in the surrounding Boston area.
