Learn how to create images with AI

Submitted by Cailin Riley

K-State librarians will provide a quick overview of popular AI image generation tools and then set you free to create images that amuse or inspire.

Come to Hale Library to unleash your creativity with the aid of artificial intelligence.

Libraries staff will host an AI image generation workshop from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in The Friends of the K-State Libraries Instruction Room in Hale Library.

K-State librarians will provide a quick overview of popular AI image-generation tools and then set you free to create images that amuse or inspire. You can share your favorite creations and thoughts about the possible uses of these technologies with other participants. The session will close with a brief discussion of copyright and ownership of images brought into being with a few keystrokes.

A second workshop on AI and copyright law will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 4, in the same location. This workshop will help you decode the terms of intellectual property as it pertains to generative AI.
