Student innovators: Compete for scholarships in K-State Innovation Challenge

Submitted by Haley Ahlers

Calling all innovators! Team up to compete in the annual Center for Principled Business K-State Innovation Challenge, powered by Koch Industries. Your team of 3-4 undergraduate students could win part of the $12,000 in scholarship prizes. Undergraduate students in any major at K-State are eligible to compete.

You've got ideas to solve real-world problems, and we want to hear them. Student teams will develop or improve an innovative product, service, technology, or process to address a problem or challenge they identify in the K-State and/or Manhattan communities. During the challenge, students will have the opportunity to get advice from employees at Koch industries.

Designed to foster creativity, innovation and teamwork, the Innovation Challenge is a unique opportunity for students to build analytical, decision-making and communication skills to power their future careers.

The registration deadline for the Innovation Challenge is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Event finals will be held on Thursday, April 27. Teams of 3-4 students can learn more and register online
