Science on Tap: 1,000 ways to mess up a chocolate cookie

Submitted by Kansas Science Communication Initiative

Join us for a Thanksgiving-themed Science on Tap, where the team of Little Batch Bakery will introduce us to the art and science of baking. Taste different batches of chocolate cookies and figure out why a recipe didn't work. Plus, you get to ask questions about your Thanksgiving baking projects!

Science on Tap will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Manhattan Brewing Company, 406 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan.

Science on Tap is offered in a relaxed setting and features free informal presentations, fun activities and lively conversation about science. The goal is to build the community's enthusiasm for science in a fun and unique way. The event is offered in partnership with K-State's Division of Biology, Sunset Zoo and Manhattan Brewing Company.
