Fall 2022 Live Ideas Lecture Series speaker announced

Submitted by Bryant Macfarlane

Vanya Eftimova Bellinger, a respected military historian and assistant professor of strategy and security at Air University, is the Fall 2022 Live Ideas Lecture Series speaker.

Bellinger will speak at 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, in Regnier Hall Auditorium about her groundbreaking research about the impact of Marie von Clausewitz on the classic military intellectual work "On War" from her Oxford University Press publication "Marie von Clausewitz: The Woman Behind the Making of On War."

The Live Ideas Lecture is open to the public and aims to appeal to a broad and multidisciplinary audience. The lecture will reveal a narrative that will evoke many thoughts about the role of women as significant influencers in enlightenment thought.

Live Ideas is the undergraduate peer-reviewed journal co-produced with the College of Arts and Sciences' primary texts undergraduate certificate program.
