The Student Access Center welcomes Maggie Borders as its new access advisor. Lindsay Kubina, who has been with the Student Access Center since 2016, has changed her role in the office and is now the department's assistant director.

Borders will assist students with disabilities in setting up academic accommodations. Borders will work primarily with students enrolled in programs through the College of Arts and Sciences. Borders has many years of experience working with undergraduate students at K-State with both the English department and most recently the McNair Scholars Program. Borders has a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing with a minor in women's and gender studies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in English from K-State. Borders is also a doctoral student in the College of Education.

Kubina will work with undergraduate students enrolled in programs in the College of Education and the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering. She will also assist students in the physician assistant program in the College of Health and Human Sciences. Kubina additionally supervises the Student Access Center Testing Center and Testing Center staff.
