Internal search underway for interim vice president of communications and marketing

Submitted by Office of the President

President Richard Myers announces a search for the interim vice president of communications and marketing, or VPCM. This will be an internal search open to current and qualified employees of Kansas State University. The anticipated start date is Jan. 9, 2022.

The interim VPCM defines creative strategy at the university level and drives alignment with campuses, colleges, departments and other major units.

In addition, the interim VPCM will lead the internal strategic communications team to provide reputation management, crisis communications and proactive public relations efforts.
