Vacation leave accrual information

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Twelve-month employees who earn eight hours of vacation leave per pay period will not accrue vacation leave during the following pay periods:

  • Pay period ending April 17 — paid April 30.
  • Pay period ending May 29 — paid June 11.
  • Pay period ending June 12 — paid June 25.

New employees who started after June 14, 2020, and part-time employees who have not accrued their full 176 hours of vacation leave, will continue to accrue vacation leave for pay periods ending May 29 and June 12 since those are the last two pay periods of the fiscal year. There will be no accruals with the third paycheck dated April 30 — pay period ending April 17.
