Hazardous waste services during Thanksgiving break

Submitted by Shauna-Kay Walder

Environmental Health and Safety will be closed Nov. 26-Nov. 27. We encourage you to submit waste pickup requests by Tuesday, Nov. 24, so staff can collect waste chemicals on Wednesday, Nov. 25, to meet state and federal hazardous waste requirements.

Please keep in mind that waste must be picked up within three calendar days of the full date you write on your hazardous waste label. Normal waste collection services will resume on Monday, Nov. 30.
