Survey for USS/UPS employees on Docking Report

Submitted by USS and UPS Senate

Dear K-State staff,

During the 2019-2020 spring semester, multiple listening sessions were hosted to collect input from university professional Staff and University Support Staff employees. These sessions focused on *three key themes surrounding the results reported from the Docking Report. Using the data from those sessions, we created one subcategory for each theme to develop recommendations for future actions to present to the President's Cabinet in November.

  1. Professional Development — Availability.
  2. Recognition/Appreciation — Inclusion.
  3. Perks and Benefits — Flexibility.
  4. *Communication — was included in an effort to connect with all university employees and seems to be a place where we may be able to tie together several recommendations.

Before we make that presentation, however, we want to ensure that we heard your concerns accurately and that our recommendations truly reflect staff ideas. Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, we are unable to host additional face-to-face sessions. Instead, a Qualtrics survey has been designed for your review.

Please complete this survey by Nov. 2. This deadline has been set to allow us time to review contributions and make any needed adjustments before the presentation to the President's Cabinet during the month of November.

Thank you for your participation. Your voice is valued.
