Submitted by Human Capital Services - Learning and Development

Resources to Attract a Highly Talented, Diverse Workforce, WTD213, will be offered from 8:15-9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the Edwards Hall commons area.

Serving on a search committee? This session will provide best practices and resources to search committee members and hiring managers interested in broadening their applicant pool. There are interactive tools embedded to enhance the participants' experience.

Supervisors and managers will be better able to do the following by the end of this training:

  • Gain an understanding of the importance of aligning your Affirmative Action Program with your overall recruitment strategy.
  • Share resources for applying key strategies to broaden outreach efforts to attract diverse applicants.

To register for this session, you can either sign up through HRIS self-service or send an email to Megan Hoelting at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID and the course title.
