Lafene lab and pharmacy open at 7 a.m.
Lafene Health Center now offers convenient laboratory and pharmacy services for current K-State faculty and staff. The center is in-network for the State of Kansas employee health insurance plans.
Laboratory services are available beginning at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday. Specimens can be sent to Quest Laboratory if you choose to use your Quest Lab Card — Plan A — or Quest Lab Card Select — Plans C, J, N and Q. A written or faxed lab order from the requesting physician and your current insurance card must be presented at the front desk at the time of service. Call 785-532-6544 to make a lab appointment or walk-in. Please note that walk-ins may require a wait.
Pharmacy services are available beginning at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday. Pharmacy services include filling new or transferred prescriptions and purchasing over-the-counter medications. Many prescription insurances are accepted; however, we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid. For help with pharmacy services, call the Lafene Pharmacy at 785-532-7758.
