K-Staters connecting their computers to the Kansas State University network can use the approved antivirus software of their choice or choose from the recommended software listed on the Antivirus website:

Microsoft Office Suite
The Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365 ProPlus) is available for personal use by K-Staters at no cost and can be installed on up to five PCs or Macs, and five mobile devices. There is also 1 TB of space available via OneDrive.

- GIS products from ESRI - GIS mapping and spatial analysis software (Available in labs)
- LabView - System design software from National Instruments (Available in labs)
- Mathematica - Mathematical software (Available in labs)
- Qualtrics - Comprehensive survey tool. Students wanting access must work with an advisor/supervisor and fill out the Qualtrics Access for Students request form.
- Read&Write - Productivity tool for reading, writing, studying, and research
