Andrew grew up in rural, northeastern Indiana. While earning his undergraduate degree, Andrew enjoyed participating in on-campus programs geared towards welcoming international students to the United States, and also studied abroad in Barcelona. Both of those experiences motivated him to continue working with students and become an international student himself, eventually migrating to Spain where he taught English in a small Andalusian village and, later, earned a master’s degree from one of the oldest universities in the world. In his free time, Andrew enjoys watching classic films, roasting and brewing coffee, playing board games, and traveling to visit family and friends.
