On-campus housing at K-State offers many benefits for students. Residence halls on-campus offer students easy access to everything on campus, wireless internet, laundry facilities, computer labs, study lounges, and meal plans.
While there are also off-campus housing options, we strongly recommend living on-campus, especially in your first year. In fact, students who live on-campus during their first two years of study often receive better grades.

Some students choose to live off campus by renting an apartment or a room in a house. Many rental options are within close proximity to campus, and students may walk, bike or drive to campus each day. Cost, quality, and amenities vary greatly in off-campus housing, which is why we strongly recommend living on-campus in your first year.
