K-State is defining its future as a next-generation land-grant institution and establishing itself as a positive force in Kansas and the world. It starts by investing in the dedicated faculty and staff who make our goals possible. K-State champions a culture of satisfaction, engagement, opportunity, improvement and innovation.

Together with our next-gen strategic plan, we have the foundation needed to build a culture of well-being that lasts.

We're on a mission to become an employer of choice in Kansas and higher education. Faculty and Staff Well-being provides initiatives, programs and opportunities for employees to prioritize their physical, emotional, social and financial health.

Well-being is about empowering ourselves and our community to create a K-State that's always people-centered. Whether you're ready to recharge, refocus, reconnect or just hit pause — let's realize our full potential together!

July is UV Awareness Month

July is UV Awareness Month, a reminder to protect your skin and eyes from the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Excessive UV exposure can increase the risk of skin cancer, premature aging, cataracts, and other health concerns.

Whether you're walking across campus, exercising outdoors, gardening, or enjoying summer activities, take simple steps to stay protected.

Get screened for skin cancer

Early detection can save lives. Faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of the upcoming Skin Cancer Screening Clinic hosted by Lafene Health Center.
