Shanna Legleiter Shanna Legleiter currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer where she provides strategic and operational human resources leadership to the Division of Human Resources. She joined the K-State family in 2014 as a Learning and Development Manager. Later, Shanna was promoted to the Director of Learning and Development where she worked to establish a supervisory program for K-State's supervisory workforce. She also served as the Associate Vice President for Human Resources at Kansas State University overseeing the areas of Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Organizational Effectiveness and Learning and Development. Prior to K-State, Shanna spent a number of years at Barton Community College where she was a full-time coordinator/instructor of business programs and developed a variety of professional development training programs in the areas of supervision, customer service, and leadership excellence. Shanna is a graduate of Barton Community College where she earned her Associate in Applied Science degree in Office Technology, Friends University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management and Leadership, and Emporia State University where she earned a Master in Science degree in Business Education. Shanna holds a variety of certifications including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Intercultural Development, Lean Six Sigma yellow belt, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect and Korn Ferry Voices 360. Shanna is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and College and University Professional Association of Human Resources (CUPA-HR). Additionally, Shanna was a founding member of the Kansas (CUPA-HR) chapter and she is engaged as an executive board member of the CUPA-HR Midwest Region Board. |

Amanda McDiffett Amanda McDiffett serves at the Assistant Vice President for HR Operations Strategy where she leads the operations team and works closely with leaders to drive initiatives and strategy for the Human Resources division. She joined K-State in 2007 and held two different roles within the College of Veterinary Medicine before moving to Human Resources in 2014 as the Director of Benefits. She served the College of Business Administration as their Budget/Fiscal Officer, leading the HR and financial operations for the college, from 2020-2024. She returned to Human Resources as the AVP for Operations Strategy in the spring of 2024. Amanda is a graduate of Kansas State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning and Baker University where she earned her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Amanda holds SHRM-CP and PHR certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management and HR Certification Institute, respectively. Amanda enjoys working with others to create efficient processes and effective environments that helps employees thrive at work. |

Kati Wolfgang Kati Wolfgang joined Kansas State University early in 2023 as the Director of Benefits in Human Resources. She has a long career in human resources within the education industry, spending nearly 15 years as a Director of Human Resources at the Wamego school district. Kati is a KSU alumni, graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, as well as a minor in Spanish. Kati is passionate about helping employees navigate the intricacies of their benefits and truly cares about each employee's needs. She puts that passion to work here on the behalf of all K-State employees. |

Charlotte Self Charlotte Self currently serves as the Director of Employee Relations & Engagement and ADA Coordinator of Human Resources. She has been with K-State for over 25 years in the human resources area. Charlotte is in charge of providing consulting services on employee relations matters, including policies and procedures, leadership development, mediation, dispute and conflict resolution, developmental and performance coaching, team or individual engagements and interventions. She supports managers and supervisors in creating action plan to address performance and behavioral issues and is a graduate of Manhattan Christian College, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Ethics. |

Marci Ritter Marci Ritter serves as the Manager for compensation and organizational effectiveness in K-State’s Human Resources. In this role she leads a team to administer and maintain the university’s staff compensation structure and serves as a partner to university stakeholders when thinking through organizational changes and updates. In addition to being a K-State graduate, Ritter has 22 years of experience at the institution, working with staff, faculty and administration across the university. Joining HR in 2022 in the manager role, she has worked to streamline processes and build strong customer service standards to better serve university constituents. She is invigorated by HR projects that support stakeholders and the university workforce. |

Mallory Whitman Mallory Whitman joined Human Resources in late July 2023 as the Administrative Support Center (ASC) HR Manager. She has over 10 years of Human Resources experience with 4 years exclusively within higher education institutions. She originally joined Kansas State University in February 2019 as an HR Analyst in Plant Pathology and Horticulture & Natural Resources. Prior to K-State, Whitman worked at Cameron University in Lawton, OK, as the Employment Coordinator. Mallory leads the ASC-HR team who provides HR support to over 40 units and departments across the K-State campus. Mallory graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Colorado State University. |
