Commencement FAQ

Planning is underway for the spring 2021 commencement ceremonies. Because it is impossible to predict the status of the pandemic in May and we plan to host ceremonies for spring, summer, and fall 2020 as well as spring 2021 graduates, we will host commencement in an outdoor venue.

Where can I find information regarding COVID-19 in the Manhattan community?

More information regarding the community COVID-19 data can be found on the COVID-19 community website.

Can spring, summer, and fall 2020 graduates still plan to attend the spring 2021 commencement ceremony?

Yes, the university is still extending the opportunity for spring, summer and fall 2020 graduates to postpone participation in commencement until spring 2021. Details about the combined ceremonies will be shared in the coming months.
