Graduate faculty success
Graduate faculty members meet rigorous requirements and demonstrate independence in scholarship, research, or creative work. They have a high degree of expertise and the ability to make significant contributions in their field.
Graduate faculty members may teach graduate courses, serve on supervisory committees, and advise master's students. Graduate faculty approved for doctoral certification may advise doctoral students.
The Graduate School presents annual awards to recognize graduate faculty who make significant contributions to teaching, research, and graduate student mentoring.
Graduate faculty representing six academic areas and all academic colleges serve on the Graduate Council to advocate for graduate education and facilitate graduate policy development and maintenance.
