Communications Specialist

• Develops content strategies and writes content for all digital platforms utilized by the Graduate School (website, social media, and email marketing)
• Writes news and feature stories on graduate students, faculty, and alumni
• Coordinates Graduate School bi-weekly bulletin
• Provides communication support to all Graduate School operations

Mike is from Oakland, California, and moved to Kansas in 2007. He graduated from K-State, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication in 2012. He was a reporter for the Junction City Union newspaper, and then worked as a Reference Specialist at the Dorothy Bramlage Library in Junction City. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also enjoys genealogy, writing, blogging, photography, reading, and watching and chatting about movies.
