Celebrating Excellence in Geography
Eighteen students in the Department of Geography and Geospatial Sciences were honored with scholarships and research fellowships, with recipients announced at the department’s annual awards reception on May 6, 2025. This event also celebrated the induction of new members into the Beta Psi chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU), the international geography honor society.
Thanks to the generous support of alumni, friends, and faculty, the department was able to award $31,500 in scholarships, fellowships, and other academic honors!
Thank You Donors!
Your generous gift to the Geography Excellence Fund will help expand our academic scholarship and research fellowship programs.
