Workshops

Are you a teacher or mentor of students in STEM? Would you like to incorporate geoscience into your curricula and activities? Geology is all around us and can be used as a practical, real-world way of explaining principles in all sciences—chemistry, physics, biology, even math! Would you like to help your students find out more about the exciting career opportunities available in the geosciences? If so, this workshop is for you!

Each workshop will comprise a total of five days and include a maximum of 30 participants. They will be developed in a hybrid mode, with 3 days of virtual meetings and activities and a weekend of either in-person or virtual activities (participants will have the option to choose), with synchronous online access for virtual participants during in-person sessions.

Selected participants will receive funds to cover travel and lodging expenses, and a professional development certificate and a stipend upon successful completion of the program.
