2026 - 5th Annual Run for the Roses

Saturday, April 25, 2025 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Register

Support the Gardens by running the fast and flat certified 5K course or walking the1K course. It's a lively event featuring the K-State band and twirl team, free face painter and chalk artist for the kids and 10,000 tulips in bloom.

Race Rates

5K -- $35, $40 after 3/1

5K --Student --$25 for ages 21 and under

1K -- $20, $25 after 3/1

5K race Teams of Four or more are eligible to go down in history on a wall plaque in the Quinlan Visitors Center for fastest team in four categories: Fraternity, Sorority, Military (must wear fatigues and carry 25 lb. backpack), and other.

Proceeds from the event will support K-State Garden projects such as: the Reflecting Pool, Conservatory, 150th Anniversary of the Gardens in 2025, etc.
