For 150 years, the Gardens have been a beautiful part of the Kansas State University campus. In 2025 we're celebrating this milestone with a variety of exciting events.

Imagine a display of beautiful poinsettias knowing that each plant has been carefully nurtured by dedicated students. These green-thumbed scholars are not just growing beautiful plants, but also mastering the art of greenhouse management.
Supporting these gardens means supporting the hands-on education and future of our horticulturists. What a brilliant way to grow both plants and knowledge!
150th Garden Celebration Finale
Thursday, December 4, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
K-State Gardens -1500 Denison, Manhattan, KS
Fa La La! Spread the word and come celebrate December Festivities at the KSU Gardens on Thursday, December 4th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This free event is a great time for families and friends to walk through the gardens with holiday lights galore and a decorated Christmas tree or two. Enjoy cocoa and cookies in the crisp winter air - maybe even savor a peppermint stick. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to greet children and offer festive picture opportunities. Holiday music will enhance the evening. -- Parking and admission is free! (Driveway to parking lot is at the north end of the Gardens.)
A variety of great holiday gifts will be available for purchase inside the Quinlan Center.
