What is your intended career path? If only I really knew! I will most likely end up in some realm of organizational training and development!

What K-State First Program were you involved in? I was involved in the Spanish in Action CAT Community ( Service-Learning study abroad opportunity!)

How did K-State First affect you as a first-year student? My CAT Community through K-State first really helped me begin building relationships, community and connections my first year. It was such a great opportunity to get connected to other students on campus, with whom I will always share some incredible memories from Costa Rica!

Why do you enjoy K-State First Student Advisory Council? I like getting to see the behind the scenes of K-State First; I have an excitement about first year students, and I love recruiting for a program that made my first year such a wonderful experience.

I am especially passionate about helping… First year students find a home here at K-State. My hope is that all of our new incoming students will have as successful and wonderful first year as I did.

My top five strengths are… Developer, Empathy, Harmony, Belief, and Connectedness!

What top strength is used at K-State First Student Advisory Council? I really love to use my Developer and Connectedness strengths in Student Advisory Council. It’s important to me that our organization feels like a team, like a family, so that we can be more successful in helping first year students get connected to the K-State family!

What are your interests and involvements on campus? For starters, I love love love my job as a Career Specialist at the Academic and Career Information Center (ACIC). I am also an active member in Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and Christian Challenge.
