Deductions and Garnishments
Court-Ordered Deductions/Garnishments
Garnishments processed through wage withholding are child support, bankruptcy, tax levies and student loans. All paperwork is received and processed through the State of Kansas Office of Accounts and Reports and sent to state agencies to process through normal payroll practices. Kansas State University must comply with these requests and are in no position to ignore, stop or dispute orders received.
Questions regarding court-ordered garnishments should be directed to the State of Kansas, Payroll Services at 785-368-6313 or doa_garns@ks.gov.
