Facilities Services

The Facility Services team consists of custodial services, landscape services, maintenance services and refuse/recycling services. Together, this team plays a crucial role in creating positive first impressions and contributing to the recruitment and retention of students, faculty and staff.

  • Custodial services contribute to K-State's mission by maintaining a safe, clean and healthy learning environment.
  • Landscape services aim to create a safe, aesthetically pleasing, well-maintained, and user-friendly environment, which is both functional and memorable for students, faculty and staff.
  • Maintenance services are responsible for the upkeep and renewal of campus buildings. This division encompasses zone maintenance and building controls.
  • Refuse/recycling services support the University's sustainability efforts by promoting waste reduction, re-use, and recycling. They also work to remove waste and recycled materials from campus to maintain a visually pleasing and healthy environment.
