Environmental Science students can join and participate in a diverse set of clubs and activities that align with their academic, career, and community service interests:

Ecology Club - The Ecology Club aims to broaden and inform students about ecology and environmental science by exploring different fields in ecology, research opportunities, and career development. For more information, contact club faculty advisor, Dr. Zak Ratajczak.

Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU) - An international honor society in geography whose members meet academic requirements and share a background and interest in geography and want to participate in activities that geography knowledge and awareness. Student members of K-State's award-winning Beta Psi chapter have earned 19 prestigious GTU Buzzard Scholarships, the most from any university in the United States. Soil and Water Conservation Society - Members of student chapters on university campuses participate in activities that foster their interests in natural resource management and prepare them for successful professional careers. Student Chapter of the American Fisheries Society - This student subunit was established within the Kansas Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (KSAFS), which is committed to the conservation and sustainability of our fisheries resources and aquatic ecosystems by uniting fisheries professionals together in Kansas. Membership is open to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled throughout Kansas' colleges and universities. For more information, contact club faculty advisor Dr. Keith Gido.

Student Chapter of the Wildlife Society - This student chapter is a subunit of the Wildlife Society whose mission is to represent and serve the professional community of scientists, managers, educators, technicians, planners, and others who work actively to study, manage, and conserve wildlife and habitats worldwide. Any K-State student interested in wildlife or fisheries biology may join. For more information, contact the club faculty advisor Dr. Dave Haukos.

Students for Environmental Action (SEA) - If you love to recycle, concerned about climate change, want to learn about sustainability and how you can help and make an impact, then this is the KSU club for you. Wheat State Agronomy Club - Membership in this club allows you to become involved with K-State Department of Agronomy students and faculty, keep updated on current agricultural events from professionals in the agronomic industry, and a chance to meet with students from other universities at national and regional meetings sponsored by the American Society of Agronomy.
