Description:

HandsOn Kansas State promotes civic learning and leadership by engaging campus and community in meaningful volunteer and service opportunities. It does this by: supporting, enhancing and advancing the service efforts of student and community associations, clubs and organizations; provides leadership, service and professional development opportunities for students and community members; and promotes civic learning, service to the campus and community and life-long commitment to active citizen participation. Its goals are to build capacity of campus/community for effective volunteering, create annual initiatives that heighten awareness of volunteering, create and collaborate on campus/community service events and participate in strategic community impact areas.
