Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff

Katie Meyer serves as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President for External Engagement and Chief of Staff at Kansas State University. In this role, she manages executive-level scheduling, project coordination, budget support and strategic communications with university leadership. With a strong background in budget planning, financial analysis and administrative operations, Katie brings over eight years of experience supporting university-wide initiatives across multiple divisions.

A proud K-State alumna, Katie holds dual bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Spanish, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a minor in Economics. Now, as a staff member, she has contributed to advancing the institution’s mission through roles in the Division of Financial Services, University Budget Planning and now in the Office of the President. Katie is also an instructor for K-State First, reflecting her commitment to student success and leadership development.
