Deputy Chief of Staff

Grant Hill serves as the deputy chief of staff for both the Office of External Engagement and Office of the President at Kansas State University, where he has been a member of the leadership team since 2018. He holds both a bachelor's degree in business management and human resources, as well as an master's degree in business administration with a concentration in data analytics — both from Kansas State University.

In his current role, Hill plays a key part in strengthening the university's relationships with civic, community and non-governmental organizations. He also provides strategic guidance on high-priority initiatives that advance K-State's mission. His responsibilities include overseeing major university events such as the Landon Lecture Series, managing budgets, supervising staff and coordinating complex administrative projects within the Offices of the President and External Engagement.

Prior to joining K-State, Hill worked as a healthcare technology consultant at Cerner Corporation, where he held large-scale technology implementations and trained thousands of healthcare professionals across multiple facilities.
