Ag Tech Day

Ag Tech Day, April 4, 2026

This spring, ID3A, KCARE and Kansas 4-H co-hosted an engaging Ag Tech Day in Moundridge, Kansas at Flickner Innovation Farm. This event was geared for youth in grades 5-12. It gave the unique opportunity to explore the farm and learn about new and established technologies that help make farm management easier and more efficient for producers.

A wide variety of stations were set up around the farm for attendees to visit while they learned from presenters.

Stations for the day's activities included:

• Drone demonostrations
• Robot demonostrations
• John Deere technologies
• Kansas Mesonet
• NASA STELLA technology
• Sensors
• Soil pit and microscopes
• Technology for finding and tracking insects
• Rain360

The event was held at Flickner Innovation Farm from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. Attendees were welcome to come and go as they pleased, and snacks were provided.
