About the institute

Advancing the Next-Gen K-State stragetic plan

The Institute for Community Health and Well-being operationalizes our commitment to One K-State — integrating teaching, research and engagement to address complex challenges facing rural Kansas, serving communities and improving lives across the state.

Aligned with the Kansas Board of Regents Building a Future strategic plan, our institute recognizes that economic prosperity depends on the health and wellbeing of Kansas communities. We generate new knowledge, create evidence-based solutions and build the conditions for sustainable economic growth.
