Since joining K-State in 2010, Tidball has developed extensive experience across multiple aspects of university communications, including writing, editing, strategic planning, public and media relations, project management, and marketing. This wide range of skills enables her to approach economic development communications from multiple angles, ensuring effective messaging across various platforms and audiences.

A notable highlight of Tidball's career at K-State was her five-year tenure as editor-in-chief of Seek magazine, the university's award-winning research publication. This leadership role demonstrated her ability to manage complex editorial processes, work with diverse stakeholders and maintain high standards for content quality and strategic communication.
