The English Language Program at Kansas State University offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of individuals and organizations. Information on specific programs can be found below.

Past Programs
- Software Maven School at Hanyang University (SMASH) (2013-2015)
- BSMP - Brazilian Science Mobility Program (2014-2015)
- Students from Brazil studied with the ELP before enrolling in courses related to their major fields of study (engineering, etc.). This project was funded by the government of Brazil and administered by IIE.
- English and U.S. Culture through Film (2016)
- Students from Universidad Central in Santiago, Chile participated in a 4-week program to improve their English skills and explore U.S. culture.
- Fulbright English For Graduate Studies (2018, 2019, 2022, 2023)
- Fulbright Pakistan Fall Seminar (2019)
- Fulbright scholars from Pakistan visited Kansas State University for academic and culture workshops.
- Long Term English Program for Mexican STEM Graduate Students (2018)
- 6 months of advanced English classes for prospective STEM graduate students from Mexico, funded by COMEXUS
- Exploring American Perspectives (2023)
- A 2-week program funded by the U.S. State Department for international English teachers in the English Access Microscholarship Program. Site visits were paired with academic workshops from members of the university community to give participants a taste of the variety of local cultures represented in our region.
- PDPI (2018, 2019, 2023, 2024)
- 2024 PDPI - 6-week English and culture program for English teachers from Brazil
- 2023 PDPI - 6-week English and culture program for English teachers from Brazil
- 2019 PDPI - 6-week English and culture program for English teachers from Brazil
- 2018 PDPI - 6-week English and culture program for English teachers from Brazil
- Khbrat (2018-2020)
- A program coordinated by the Center for Intercultural and Multilingual Advocacy (CIMA) in the Kansas State University College of Education with funding by the Saudi Arabian government. The ELP provided English classes to the cohorts of 40 public school teachers from Saudi Arabia. CIMA provided training in educational practices and guided the participants in school immersion experiences and the development of capstone projects.
- Perfeccionamiento en didáctica y planificación and Creating a Student Centered Interactive Classroom (2016)
- Taylor Jennings and Ketty Reppert presented a series of workshops to faculty members at Universidad Central in Santiago, Chile.
- GoTeacher (2012-2015)
- The ELP provided English classes to support the GoTeacher program in cooperation with the Center for Intercultural and Multilingual Advocacy (CIMA) in the College of Education. The ELP also used the English Proficiency Test (EPT) to assess the English language proficiency of the participants at K-State and partner institutions in the U.S.
- Academic Communication Institute (2018)
- Junior university faculty members from different parts of Indonesia spent five weeks studying academic writing and presentation skills. The program included orientation to the U.S. higher education system. Participants had the opportunity to network with members of the campus community in order to explore opportunities for future collaboration.
- UNTAN Visiting Scholars Institute (2017)
- The first group of faculty members from Universitas Tanjungpura (UNTAN) in Pontianak, West Borneo, Indonesia visited the ELP and KSU for 2 weeks. They listened to presentations from several key university teaching and leadership offices, academic departments, observed classes at the ELP and Adult Learning Center (ALC), and visited MidTESOL.
- Professional Writing Institute (2016)
- A 3-week professional development opportunity for scholars from Indonesia funded by DIKTI
- English Teacher Professional Development (2018)
- Faculty members from Jilin University attended a 3-week professional development workshop seriesUNTAN Visiting Scholars Institute (2017)
- English Teacher Professional Development (2016)
- English teachers from Chile and Paraguay participated in a 2-week professional development experience hosted by the ELP.
- Strengthening Higher Education Program: Afghanistan (2007-2010)
- Along with the College of Engineering and the English Department, the ELP participated in this project funded by the World Bank by providing content-based English instruction to faculty members from Kabul University and Balkh University in Kabul, consulting on curriculum for the English Department at Kabul University, and providing practicum support for Afghan faculty members who came to Kansas State University for a Master's degree.
- English Language Training for AIB Students (2016-2018)
- The ELP provided pre-program English training for international professionals participating in training at the American Institute of Baking (AIB).

- FATA Pakistan Agriculture Program (2009)
- The ELP provided English classes for students from Pakistan who were participating in a program hosted by the Kansas Center for Agricultural Resources and the Environment.
