Ketty grew up in the Manhattan area and has worked in the English Language Program in various roles since 2006. She enjoys meeting students and visitors from around the world and introducing them to Kansas and the Manhattan community. In her current role, she guides ELP programming and projects and collaborates with colleagues around campus to support student success and access. Seeing ELP students complete degrees at K-State or take what they’ve learned during their time on campus back to their home communities are some of her favorite parts of her job.

Leena and her husband Amit have lived in Manhattan, Kansas for 35 years, and have raised two daughters here. They have both worked at K-State for all these years. As the associate director of the English Language Program, Leena supervises all areas of student services, which includes academic and personal advising, tutoring, and technology access for students. She also meets with prospective K-State students to help them during their admission and enrollment process. She works with advisors in the different colleges to make the transition process easier for ELP students as they start taking university classes. She also teaches orientation classes. In addition to general administrative duties, she also leads grant-funded projects as needed.

B.S. in Family Studies and Human Service with a concentration in Elementary Education from Kansas State University.

Audra actively communicates with prospective students, providing them with essential information and guidance. Audra provides technical support for the information system, oversees standardized testing compliance, collaborates with ISO for quality and efficiency, and maintains the ELP website. She also manages the budgeting for special programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
