Multicultural Student Organizations

Student Belonging and Inclusion supports over 40 multicultural student organizations at K-State and directly advises 8 Sponsored Student Organizations. These organizations represent historically underrepresented students. Our student organizations provide opportunities for all students to gain leadership skills, learn about academic resources, and increase cultural awareness.

Campus Engagement

Multicultural Student Organization Leadership Council (MSOLC)

Each MSO is represented on the Multicultural Student Organization Leadership Council. The mission of the MSOLC is to provide members the space to collaborate with other multicultural student groups, promote their academic and intellectual growth, as well as foster positive relationships among all students.

Intercultural Leadership Council (ILC)

The ILC is a joint partnership between SBI and the K-State Student Governing Association (SGA). The ILC provides student awareness and input to SBI in the areas of student advocacy, student access and success, and cultural competency development; and provides input and guidance for student diversity & inclusion programming, events, and activities. The group also works to provide support and input to the great campus community regarding diversity and engaging students.
