Procurement Timeline
As part of the
Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Plan, a new Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solution was selected to improve the management of student relationships. In March 2019, the Admissions CRM search committee was charged to select a new CRM solution for K-State.
The Admissions CRM search committed developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) targeted at an Undergraduate Admissions CRM. Listening tours were conducted to gather feedback on the use of current CRM systems, and finalize what criteria must be met when selecting a new solution. Based on that feedback, CRM vendors conducted demonstrations of their products. Feedback was gathered via surveys about the vendor demonstrations. On June 27, 2019, TargetX , powered by Salesforce, was announced as K-State’s new CRM for undergraduate and graduate recruitment.
